Membership in professional associations:

• From 1993 to 2001 he was a member of the Chamber of Auditors of Ukraine and Chairman of the Committee on Auditing Standards and Practices in Ukraine. He made a significant contribution to the development of audit in Ukraine at the stage of its formation and development. For the first time in Ukraine, he developed the National Standards on Auditing in Ukraine and the Code of Professional Ethics for Auditors of Ukraine based on the International Standards on Auditing;
• Since 1997, he has been a member of the Board of the Ukrainian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Ukraine;
• since 1998 – Member of the Ukrainian Union of Auditors;
• from 1995 to 1998 – Chairman of the Accounting Standards Committee of the International Regional Federation of Accountants and Auditors Eurasia and Secretary for External Relations of the IRFAA Eurasia. While working as a member of IRFAA Eurasia, he made proposals to improve international standards on quality control, audit, review, other assurance and related services and to provide sample audit reports as part of the standards adopted and published by the International Federation of Accountants. These were the only proposals accepted by this organisation in the history of professional organisations not only in Ukraine but also in Eastern Europe.
